In Memory of Joley

On saturday we made the very difficult decision to let our Joley girl cross over to the Rainbow Bridge. She was no longer able to eat or drink & started having trouble breathing. After talking over options with our vet we made the most humane decision possible for her.

We got Joley in 2005 from Blue Dog Rescue. She was this cute 4 yo fir ball that very quickly filled up our house with massive amounts of dog hair.  She was a great pyranees mix and not quick the bundle of energy that our Lucy is.  Joley loved to roam the "back 40" & do perimeter checks along our fence line.  We quickly learned that she was the powerhouse of the group & responsible for breaking our fence boards & digging to assist in doggie escapes.  At night we would rest easy knowing that Joley stood guard at our front door barking at the wind throughout the night.  She never demanded affection like our other 2, but always appreciated it.  On cold nights it was often challenging convincing her to come inside & she loved the snow.  I am glad she got one last snow before crossing over to the rainbow bridge.  We love you and miss Joley, may you always have cold days to play :)

I'm so sorry about your sweet Joley. Losing a pet is losing a member of the family. My heart goes out to you.
