In the Jungle . . .

So apparently we have quite a few creatures living in our house.  There is a herd of "scary" catepillars living under our pillows during snuggle time.  I have NO idea how Emma became scared of catepillars? She knows they turn into Butterflies (one of her favorite things). I think I am going to get some catepillars so she can see them up close & watch them turn into butterflies. Ryan is NOT so thrilled about this. 

In our bedroom, bathroom, & closet we have "SCARY LION".  Emma was quite scared of him one day so I calmly explained that Lion was sleeping with his mommy & daddy in the jungle.  ITs quite cute to hear Emma say jungle.  In addition I started singing The Lion Sleeps Tonight & Emma loves it, its her new favorite song.  I download a couple of versions. First was the Lion King Broadway version but its only a minute long. Emma pointed to the veggie tales version so I got it too. Funny thing is, Emma likes the Lion King one better :)

Finally we have some bunny rabbits hopping around our house. (maybe they are food for the lion? we won't mention that to Emma).  Ryan has told me under no circumstances are we allowed to get Emma a pet Lion or Bunny!

Emma completely amazes me with her growing imagination even if Emma wants to be held while I am trying to the bathroom & scary lion is in the closet! :)

As soon as I figure it out, I will upload Emma singing "The lion sleeps tonight"
